From 18 to 21 June 2025, the Healthy Life Area at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum treated opinion leaders and experts from the medical community to presentations on achievements in healthcare and related business programme events. The Healthy Life Area enjoyed the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
23 panel discussions on important issues facing healthcare were organized within the Healthy Life ecosystem as part of the SPIEF business programme and in the Healthy Life Area. More than 150 industry experts participated in the events, with thirty cooperation agreements signed between the public sector and business community.
Taking part in the official tour of the exhibition space and grand opening of the Healthy Life Area were Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) Veronika Skvortsova, Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being and Chief State Sanitary Physician of the Russian Federation Anna Popova, Chairman and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev, and CEO of Health & Nutrition Yakub Zakriyev. Hosting the event was Member of the Russian Public Chamber Commission on Healthcare and Director of RC Medicine Anastasia Stolkova.
“This is the sixth time the Healthy Life Area has opened at SPIEF, but it’s not the only place you can find the project, which is working all year long. The Healthy Life Area is constantly bringing experts, specialists, and businesses together to exchange opinions and promote new technologies, events, and forms of support: it has grown into a real industry meeting place. This year, the Area has introduced a new focal point, healthy longevity, which will continue to expand at venues throughout the year,” Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.
The Russian Ministry of Health hosted a stand at the Healthy Life Area for the first time, showcasing 13 high-tech developments from the country’s top research centres, tailoring its exhibition, which provided a user-friendly peek at the latest advances in medical science, to a wide audience, with clear slogans and relevant topics ranging from emergency care to remote monitoring and rehabilitation.
The Healthy Life Area exhibition brought together cutting-edge healthcare technologies, digital medical solutions, and artificial intelligence in a single platform for innovative medical achievements. Particular attention was focused on new medical achievements and technologies for active longevity that have created new opportunities for public health. Neuroheadset technologies for cognitive therapy, portable ultrasound equipment, and sports rehabilitation technologies were on display. Visitors had the opportunity to check out a smartphone-based gait assessment system, a mind-controlled exoskeleton, and neurorehabilitation technologies. Also on display during the exhibition were modern surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment, and innovative medical solutions that included bionic prostheses, rapid diagnostic tests, and health analysis platforms using artificial intelligence, all examples of healthcare’s latest attempts to improve quality of life.
This year’s Healthy Life Area featured a unique new platform, the Healthy Eating Area, with retail representatives on hand to acquaint visitors with healthy products from leading manufacturers, initiatives to promote healthy eating, and the idea of ‘healthy shelves’. Health & Nutrition organized a bar serving healthy Planto fruit and nut smoothies, and the X5 Retail Group showed off its popular healthy lifestyle brands Green Line and Taste & Benefit.
“The Healthy Life Area has grown from an industry platform into an entire ecosystem of experts reaching far beyond just medicine. We talk a lot nowadays about nutrition, scientific developments, technology, artificial intelligence, a healthy environment, and corporate health initiatives. Healthy longevity is a complex issue requiring a comprehensive approach, and our platform is the place where people from different sectors can meet to engage in dialogue,” Member of the Russian Public Chamber Commission on Healthcare and Director of RC Medicine Anastasia Stolkova said.
The Healthy Life Area hosted the interactive RC Medicine zone for the second time, featuring high-tech healthcare projects aimed at promoting innovative medical technologies in Russia and abroad.
