On 18–21 June 2025 in St. Petersburg, the Healthy Life ecosystem will host a number of discussions on key healthcare issues within the framework of the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The events will take place both within the main business programme of the Forum and at the Healthy Life area.
Traditionally, the Healthy Life project builds a stand in one of the most visited places of the SPIEF venue. This year, the project’s stand will feature such industry flagships as the Russian Ministry of Health, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia and other key players, who will present to Forum participants their accumulated competences in promoting advanced technologies in domestic healthcare, demonstrate breakthrough scientific and technological developments and innovative projects in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals.
As part of the Healthy Life business programme, it is planned to discuss innovative technologies in medicine, including artificial intelligence and digitalization of healthcare, as well as the development of the pharmaceutical industry and medical tourism. In addition, experts will consider the issues of investments in healthcare and their impact on the long-term well-being of the state.
Among other things, visitors to the Forum will be able to learn about the latest innovations in the field of proper nutrition at the Healthy Life area, where leading manufacturers will present their developments – from functional products to balanced diets. Both traditional healthy food categories and innovative solutions, including plant-based alternatives and new generation superfoods, will be presented here. Special attention should be paid to the demonstration of modern technologies for the production of healthy products that make healthy nutrition accessible and diverse for every consumer.
The development of international cooperation in the healthcare sector is becoming one of the priority areas of Russia’s foreign policy. The Healthy Life project is actively expanding its cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, which will be the guest country of SPIEF this year. The Russian side invited the high-ranking delegation to get acquainted with the advanced achievements of domestic medicine and to discuss the possibilities of joint projects in the field of telemedicine, pharmaceuticals and medical tourism.
“We are actively developing partnerships in the healthcare sector with our international partners, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is this year’s SPIEF guest country. In January, the Russian delegation took part in the International Women’s Economic Forum in Bahrain, where they discussed, among other things, cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry. We have invited the Bahraini delegation to visit leading manufacturing and medical centres in Russia, and we will be happy to present our developments in building a healthy society to the international expert community,”said Anastasia Stolkova, a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, First Deputy CEO for Development of the Roscongress Foundation, and Head of the Healthy Society project.
In addition, Hesa Sabah Al Doseri, Director of the Forensic Medicine Department of the Attorney General’s Office of Bahrain, was one of the finalists in the category ‘International Cooperation for the Health and Wellbeing of Nations’ in the 3rd Annual Women for a Healthy Society Competition.
This year, on the sidelines of SPIEF, the winners of the 4th Competition ‘Women for a Healthy Society’ will be awarded. In 2025, the Competition was held in the following nominations: ‘Health-Saving Technologies’, ‘Motherhood and Childhood’, ‘Healthy Lifestyle’, ‘AI and Digital Solutions for Health’, as well as five special nominations: ‘Best Entrepreneurial Project in Health Care’, ‘Social Projects of Mutual Aid’, ‘International Health Promotion Projects’, ‘Mental Health’, ‘Best Youth Project on Health Preservation’. The competition is held annually to promote national policies to promote public health and to bring together women leaders from across Russia working in the social sphere.
