SPIEF Healthy Life Area Announces Business Programme

The Roscongress Foundation’s Healthy Life project has posted the business programme of the Healthy Life Area, which will operate on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 15–18 June 2022, on its official website.

The business programme sessions are being organized with the support of the Russian Research Institute of Health of the Russian Ministry of Health, the Senezh Management Workshop of the ‘Russia – Land of Opportunity’ presidential platform, Sechenov University, the Institute of Leadership and Health Management of Sechenov University, the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, and other organizations.

The business programme of the Healthy Life Area covers a wide range of issues related to the healthcare industry and will feature such panel discussions as ‘Healthy Society: Focus on Innovation and Support for Russian Manufacturers’, ‘Bolstering the Resources of Local Communities in Times of Turbulence: Collaboration between State Institutions, Business, and NPOs’, ‘Public Health: Challenges of the Times’, and ‘How Can We Improve Efficiency under Stress?’, among others.

“The development of new technologies in medicine is currently turning healthcare into an integrated multi-tiered system for citizens, researchers, manufacturers, and regulators. And this system solves the main challenge of improving people’s quality of life and their access to effective therapy, promoting the development of preventive personalized medicine, and facilitating management decisions. This is the focus of the future of healthcare,” Russian Federal Medical-Biological Agency First Deputy Director Tatyana Yakovleva said.

The Healthy Life project is a specialized platform for government officials and expert communities to cooperate in order to exchange the best innovative practices, discuss targets, global trends and prospects for the development of the healthcare system, and develop practical proposals that aim to build a healthy society.

The strategic partners of the Healthy Life Area are the Russian Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) and the FMBA Strategic Initiatives Centre. The partners of the Healthy Life Area are Petrovax Pharm, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Evalar.
