The official website of the Healthy Life project has published the business programme of the Healthy Life Area that will become part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The programme covers key healthcare topics; representatives of government authorities, patient communities, non-profit organizations and the business community will participate in discussions.

“2020 was a special year. Unlike many countries, Russia managed to mitigate an explosive increase in morbidity and mortality and to avoid the collapse of the healthcare system. Now the medical services are returning to regular operations. Particular attention should be paid to increasing the availability and quality of primary healthcare services provided to citizens, modernizing the infectious diseases service, and developing medical rehabilitation,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Galina Karelova.

Sessions of the Healthy Life Area business programme cover a wide range of issues related to fighting infectious and non-infectious diseases, development of high technologies in medical care, creation of medical ecosystems, as well as development of Russian medical science.

‘High Technologies in Medical Care: Expanding Availability’ session will be held with the support of Vernoe Napravlenie ANPO. In 2021, the Roscongress Foundation and Vernoe Napravlenie charitable medical aid service signed a cooperation agreement. Specialists of the service help parents who are looking for charitable help for their severely ill children get the necessary treatment and medicines.

The sessions named ‘The Role of Women in a Healthy Society’ and ‘Public Health in the Context of Social and Economic Development: New Challenges and New Solutions’ will focus on the issues of promoting healthy lifestyles.

Together with Natsionalnye Prioritety ANPO, the Healthy Life project will hold a session called ‘Communications Ecosystem to Protect and Promote Health’ on the development of the dialogue between the state, the medical community and citizens.
