During the Forum, experts will examine the prospects

technologies in domestic healthcare; new stages of the implementation of
national projects in Russia that aim to improve the quality of life and
healthcare; modern approaches, initiatives, and technologies that help to
improve awareness about health issues; new medical examination programmes;
successful regional initiatives; the modernization of health centres, and
numerous other issues. The central event of the Forum will be the plenary
session, which is titled ‘Women for a Healthy Society’.
“Today, our health largely depends on how much we
adhere to the principles of a healthy lifestyle and undergo the necessary
preventive examinations in a timely manner to identify health problems at an
early stage. In many ways, the culture of health protection, from the habit of
being physically active to proper nutrition, is shaped in the family and
primarily comes from women. As such, each of us is responsible for both our own
health and the health of future generations,” said Oksana Drapkina,
Director of the National Medical Research Centre for Therapy and Preventive
Medicine, Chief Specialist in Therapy and General Medical Practice of the
Russian Ministry of Health, and an Academician of the Russian Academy of
Sciences.
On 5 March 2025, expert discussions will be held as
part of the Roscongress Foundation’s Healthy Life project. Experts will discuss
the development of digital medicine and cellular technologies that are used in
healthcare, ways to improve drug provision for patients with diabetes, modern
approaches and technologies in medicine and health protection, state support
measures for maternal and child welfare in Russia, and numerous other topics.
The discussion ‘Availability of Food Innovations: How
Is the Functional Food Market Growing?’ will be devoted to nutrition’s impact
on human health, the importance of introducing functional products, as well as matters
concerning the accessibility of food innovations, diet optimization, the role
of public policy, and promising developments in food products to strengthen the
health of the nation.
Participants in the session ‘Ensuring Drug Security in
Russia for a Healthy Society’ will discuss the objectives on the current agenda
of the drug regulation system in an effort to improve the mechanisms that it
uses. “Programmes to support the domestic pharmaceutical industry play an important
role in building such a sustainable drug security system. In recent years, we
have been able to achieve a high level of import substitution. Drugs are being produced
in Russia according to the highest quality standards,” Russian Deputy Minister
of Industry and Trade Yekaterina Prieyzzheva said.
The event will bring together specialists,
businesspeople, as well as public and political figures who shape the future
landscape of healthcare in Russia.
Entrepreneurs, innovators, opinion leaders, government
officials, and representatives of the scientific and business community have
been invited to participate.
