The Healthy Life Forum is set to take place on 27 October 2020 at the Rossiya Segodnya International Multimedia Press Centre. Topics for discussion will include how healthcare systems are operating as COVID-19 continues to spread, vaccination, tackling oncological and cardiovascular diseases during the pandemic, the healthcare system’s human resource potential, and implementing the Healthcare and Demography national projects.

The event’s business programme will bring together representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the World Health Organization, federal and regional government bodies, the medical community, and various unions and associations, along with renowned experts in the field. The event is taking place under the slogan “Responding to global challenges”, and is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation, with the Content Foundation for Expertise and Analysis as knowledge partner. It is being held with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. 

The plenary session of the Healthy Life Forum is entitled “New Paradigm of Healthcare: Responding to Global Challenges”. Among those taking part in the session will be Galina Karelova, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation; Anna Popova, Head of the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor);Dmitry Morozov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for Health; Stanislav Voskresensky, Governor of Ivanovo Region; and Sofia Malyavina, General Director of National Priorities.
