31 May 2022

The Healthy Life Area, which will operate on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 15–18 June 2022, has posted the architecture of the event’s business programme on the official website of the Roscongress Foundation’s Healthy Life project.

The Healthy Life project is a specialized platform that facilitates cooperation between government officials and expert communities in an effort to exchange best innovative practices, discuss targets, global trends, and prospects for the development of the healthcare system, and develop practical proposals that aim to build a healthy society.

The expert discussions held as part of the Healthy Life project’s business programme will cover topics related to scientific development, sharing technologies, import substitution, innovations in medicine, the training of professional managers, bolstering public health, the development of preventive medicine, the role of NPOs in organizing medical care, and other key healthcare issues.

The Healthy Life project is organizing several expert discussions on healthcare as part of the main business programme of the SPIEF 2022, including: ‘Healthcare: New Realities and Prospects for transformation’, ‘Import Substitution in Healthcare: New Growth Points’, ‘Vaccine Production: International Cooperation for health’, and others. The sessions of the Healthy Life Area business programme are being organized with the support of the Russian Research Institute of Health of the Russian Ministry of Health, the Senezh Management Workshop of the Presidential Platform ‘Russia – Land of Opportunity’, Sechenov University, the Institute of Leadership and Health Management of Sechenov University, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, and other organizations.

The Healthy Life Area will host the premiere presentation of the Health & Beauty project, which will showcase the most current trends in preventive medicine and the opportunities offered by modern diagnostics. Representatives of leading clinics and innovative brands will share their experience. In addition, the Area will feature an interactive map of the social projects of the Women for a Healthy Life platform.

“An exhibition area will be operating at the SPIEF as part of the Healthy Life Area, and an eventful business programme is also planned for all four days of the Forum. Last year, the SPIEF hosted the presentation of the Women for a Healthy Life project, which aims to bring together women who are implementing initiatives to build a healthy society. We held the first national competition of social projects ‘Women for a Healthy Life’, whose winners will take part in the Forum this year and present their initiatives. We invite all women who are interested in healthcare to join our community, present their initiatives, and take part in expert discussions and events to promote their projects,” said Anastasia Stolkova, Head of the Roscongress Foundation Healthcare Projects Directorate and Director of the Women for a Healthy Life project.

A traditional pharmaceutical breakfast will be held on the sidelines of the SPIEF under the theme ‘Investing in Health: Effective Cooperation between Business and Society’.
