The Healthy Life Area is a space organized on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. This project’s business programme covers a whole range of healthcare topics. Expert discussions will bring together representative of government agencies, public organizations, and business community. The Content Foundation for the Development of Expert and Analytical Activity is the knowledge partner of the Healthy Life project.
Some of the SPIEF sideline discussions will be a follow-up to the expert community’s online events on the social and economic challenges driven by COVID-19. In 2020, the Healthy Life project organized 15 expert discussions.
“The fight against non-infectious socially significant diseases is a task that takes efforts of both experts and the society as a whole. We must involve our citizens in protecting their own health and preventing non-infectious diseases. We must promote healthy lifestyles. Healthy Life project’s events are very practical. I am confident that sessions on healthcare at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will make an important contribution to this industry’s development and launch new socially significant projects in Russia,” emphasized Russian Deputy Minister of Health Oleg Salagay.
The Healthy Life project is an industry platform for direct dialogue between representatives of government and the expert community at the national and international level, supporting the joint search for practical proposals to address key issues in the healthcare sector. The project acts as a tool for sustainable development, helping to advance Russia’s position as a driver of the global health agenda.
