25 July 2019

The ‘Healthy Life’ Area will work as part of the 5th Eastern Economic Forum, which is set to be held in Vladivostok on 4–6 September. The ‘Healthy Life’ Area looks to become a place for representatives of the medical and scientific communities at the Forum to come together.

“Healthcare occupies an important place on the agenda of major Roscongress Foundation forums. The search for joint decisions on the implementation of national projects related to the creation of a healthy society and lifestyle as part of the business programme of the Eastern Economic Forum will continue the discussion started at the ‘Healthy Life. Towards 80+’ Forum and the 2019 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. I am confident that the participation of leading world experts and government and business representatives in the sessions will help unite the efforts of all concerned parties to achieve the state’s strategic goals to improve the quality and increase healthy life expectancy,” Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum Anton Kobyakov said.

Discussions taking place in the Eastern Economic Forum healthcare track will focus on such issues as the provision of medical care in remote areas, the introduction of new technologies to healthcare, biological safety, and public healthcare programs in the Far East.

In addition, participants of the EEF will be able to undergo DNA testing and pay a visit to the healthy nutrition bar and business communication area in the ‘Healthy Life’ Area.
