Olga Tkacheva graduated with honours from S.M. Kirov Gorky State Medical Institute majoring in General Medicine and the therapy internship in S.M. Kirov Gorky State Medical Institute. In 1993, Olga Tkacheva was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, in 1999 – Doctor of Medical Sciences. In 2006, she earned the title of professor. Ms Tkacheva has 32 years of clinical work experience and 28 years of teaching under her belt.
From 2013 to 2018 – Senior Geriatrician of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation. From 2015 – present – contracted Chief Geriatrician of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation and Director of Russian Clinical Research Centre for Gerontology. She is the author of more than 300 scientific publications, 11 monographs, national guidelines, has one certificate and three patents for inventions.
She headed the working groups and was a member of expert committees on the preparation of national guidelines ‘Diagnosis and treatment of hypertension’, the recommendations on diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in pregnant women, national guidelines on diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases during pregnancy, guidelines on general risk reduction of disease and complications in women, practical guidelines on the use of hormone replacement therapy in peri- and postmenopausal women, national guidelines ‘Prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases’, guidelines for physicians ‘Basic Principles of the prevention and treatment of thrombosis in tables and charts’, guidelines ‘Follow-up monitoring of patients with chronic non-communicable diseases and high-risk patients’.
Olga Tkacheva’s scientific research focused on the mechanisms and patterns of the heart and blood vessels ageing and their correlation with cellular replicative ageing, the issues of the age-related metabolic disorders, prevention and treatment of age-related diseases and geriatric syndromes.
She advised on 20 candidate and five doctoral theses.
She is the president of the National Public Organization ‘Russian Association of Gerontologists and Geriatricians’, member of the National Public Organization ‘Russian Society for the Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases’, National Public Organization ‘Russian Society of Cardiology’, National Organization ‘Russian Medical Society on Arterial Hypertension’, National Medical Society of Preventive Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, European Geriatric Medicine Society.
She is a member of the editorial board of medical journals ‘Rational Pharmacotherapy in Cardiology’, ‘Preventive Medicine’, ‘Clinical Gerontology’, ‘Archives of Internal Medicine’, ‘Medical Care’, ‘Women’s Health Issues’, ‘Russian Open Medical Journal’, ‘Bulletin of the Ivanovo Medical Academy’.

Maria Andreyevna Morozova has been heading the Elena & Gennady Timchenko Charitable Foundation from the day when it was created in December 2010. Since then, the Timchenko Foundation has become one of Russia’s leading private foundations implementing programs aimed at supporting active ageing, developing sports and culture, helping families and children. These strategic directions are designed to further comprehensive solutions of Russia’s social problems, with a special emphasis on its regions. The program portfolio of The Timchenko Foundation embraces over 100 projects, both all around Russia and abroad. Here are some of them: Society for All Ages National Conference, competitions like Active Generation, Cultural Mosaic of Small Towns and Villages, Dobryi Lyod [Good Ice], Right Family Course and others. As an active participant of expert panels and public forums that tackle topics matching the priorities of The Timchenko Foundation activities Maria Morozova has occupied the following positions: member of the Community Council with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Russian Federation (including Vice-Chairwoman of the Commission for Social Assistance and member of the Commission of Labor and Local Employment); head of Senior Citizen section with the Russian Federation Government’s Community Council on Guardianship Issues in the Social Sphere; member of the Expert Board with the Agency of Strategic Initiatives; member of The Council of the Federation Committee on Social Innovation Development in Territorial Entities of the Russian Federation, member of the Joint advisory board of the President Grants foundation and others.

Graduate of Faculty of Philology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, founder and director/CEO of “Enjoyable Ageing” charitable fund, a non-profit organisation aimed at helping elderly and disabled people, member of the Council on Guardianship under the Government of the Russian Federation. The foundation led by Elizaveta provides psychological, financial, medical, social and welfare support as well as information and advice to elderly people in difficult situations. Currently the foundation is collaborating with 25 regions, supervising 150 care homes, paying the wages of 160 carers, training the staff for care organisations. Apart from that, the fund is setting up a reliable home care service. It was “Enjoyable Ageing” that initiated the establishment of public long-term care system in Russia and is now actively participating in developing its mechanisms. Since 2018 the foundation will be part of the Federal pilot project of implementing the LTC system in accordance with the President’s order.

Horst Krumbach was born in 1964 and lives in Aachen/Germany. After a twelve years banking career he switched to the nonprofit sector and became director of one of the oldest German nursing homes in 1996. He transferred it into a foundation whose director he has been since then.

Within the foundation he established the first German intergenerational enterprise “Generationsbrücke Deutschland” (Generationsbridge Germany) in 2009, being one of the most successful German social enterprises meanwhile. Last year his intergenerational concept has been adopted by the Moscow located nursing homes “house at park”, being the third and meanwhile most important international Generationsbridge partner.
Horst also built day care centers under the roof of his foundation after he realized the socially relevance of this special form of elderly care. Day care centers have become the fastest growing institutions for the professional care of elderly people in Germany as they provide important advantages for everybody involved: for the residents themselves, their families and also for the operators and owners.

For his work, Horst has been numerously awarded, among others by German Chancellor Angela Merkel who supports Generationsbrücke Deutschland personally as honorary patron. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences around the world.
