Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: From Technological Breakthroughs to Systemic Changes
The digital transformation of healthcare is an integral part of the overall sustainable development of the healthcare system. Artificial intelligence tools, big data analytics, electronic medical records, and telemedicine solutions are changing the paradigm of diagnosis, treatment, and patient support. Digital platforms ensure the continuity of medical monitoring, increase the accuracy and speed of medical decision-making, and improve the availability and personalization of medical care. In the pharmaceutical sector, technologies accelerate drug development and facilitate efficient logistics management and the incorporation of personalized medicine principles. However, these new opportunities pose some serious challenges: issues related to ethics, data protection, digital inequality, and personnel training, all of which require an integrated approach. What is the place of AI in modern healthcare? What role is AI playing in the transformation of the medical education system? How can existing barriers be overcome to create more accessible and high-quality medical care? What kinds of challenges have been encountered by clinics and corporations that have experience working with AI technologies in their practices?

Public Health is a Team Game: The Role of Cross-Sectoral Cooperation
An integrated approach is crucial to achieving Russia’s national goal of preserving its population, improving people’s health and well-being, and supporting families. This is a multifactorial problem that requires the creation of certain conditions that are largely influenced by medicine, education, social policy, urban planning, ecology, and economics. Professional interdepartmental teams with members of various agencies are needed above all else to successfully implement projects and specialized programmes that aim to ensure the conditions for the country’s sustainable development, taking into account its national priorities. Cross-sectoral teams built on the principles of social partnership that possess the necessary expertise and organizational and communication skills to manage complex projects in multitasking mode are the most effective at taking efficient comprehensive measures at different levels of management. What role does cross-sectoral cooperation play in creating a healthy society? What could help different agencies combine their efforts and establish productive interaction in order to achieve strategic goals in the interests of preserving and increasing the potential of public health? What effective strategies could help create a comfortable and safe environment for a healthy, long, and high-quality life for Russian citizens? What successful projects are being implemented in Russia today across various agencies to improve people’s health and well-being?

Opportunities of the Pharmaceuticals Industry
The Russian pharmaceutical market has seen steady growth in the production of generics, which are becoming increasingly attractive for both manufacturers and consumers. The development of generics helps to enhance the availability of medical care, significantly reduce treatment costs, implement import substitution policies, and further build on the industry’s technological potential. The main challenges facing the industry are a low level of medical literacy among the population and insufficient awareness about generic drugs among healthcare workers. To raise awareness, it is essential to conduct comprehensive educational campaigns for the population and educational work with healthcare professionals. Plans for the industry’s development include expanding the production of generics, boosting export potential, and attracting investment to produce generic drugs. Optimizing manufacturing processes and introducing modern technologies could increase production efficiency and expand the geography of generic drug supplies. Effective tools for enhancing public awareness, approval, and loyalty include educational campaigns for the population and explanatory educational work with healthcare professionals. What is the outlook for the production of generic drugs in Russia? How is the pharmaceutical industry structurally changing in Russia? What is behind the growth in the proportion of generics on the domestic market? What measures are being taken to raise awareness about generics among the population and medical workers? How is the quality of Russian generics controlled during their production? What kind of export potential does the domestic pharmaceutical industry have today?
