The Healthy Life area will be presented during the 3rd Russian Public Health Forum in its traditional format as a platform for the discussion of some of the most pressing issues in the healthcare sector. The key themes of the Healthy Life space’s business programme include: the vaccination of the population, the health of infants and schoolchildren, healthcare in the regions, and the fight against cancer. The Forum will be held on 14–15 October 2019 at Skolkovo Moscow School of Management.

“One of the priorities of healthcare is to increase the healthy life expectancy of our citizens. An integrated approach is needed to achieve this goal. The discussions held as part of the Forum’s business programme, which will also take place at the Healthy Life area, will bring together representatives of the medical community, business, and government to jointly seek out new solutions and enhance the effectiveness of public health programmes. The Forum has already gained the status of one of the key business events not only for the medical community, but also for government agencies, the business community, and public organizations,” Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova said.

Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Health, the federal and regional authorities, medical communities, unions, and associations as well as key industry experts will take part in the business programme of the Healthy Life area. 

“The Healthy Life cross-cutting track is an integral part of the business programmes of the Roscongress Foundation’s biggest events: the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Eastern Economic Forum, and Russian Investment Forum, among others. We are thrilled to become a partner of the 3rd Russian Public Health Forum organized by the Russian Ministry of Health. The Healthy Life space’s business programme will feature discussions on a number of global health issues that we will continue working on at the Healthy Life Forum in February 2020,” said Anastasia Stolkova, First Deputy CEO for Development at the Roscongress Foundation and head of the Healthy Life project. 

The Russian Public Health Forum has been organized by the Russian Ministry of Health since 2017 and brings together the heads of Russian regions, regional healthcare ministries as well as regional state and public structures. This year the Forum will focus on topical issues concerning the implementation of public health objectives through interdepartmental and interdisciplinary collaboration by medical, cultural, educational, and sports institutions. The programme architecture includes more than 40 panel discussions, roundtables, pitch sessions as well as sporting and cultural events.

The Healthy Life Forum will take place on 12 February 2020 as part of the Russian Investment Forum at the Main Media Centre of Sochi’s Olympic Park. The Forum is the result of the annual activities of the Roscongress Foundation’s Healthy Life project, which was created in order to find and develop practical proposals to implement national projects that aim to solve the problem of increasing the healthy life expectancy of Russian citizens. The Forum is supported by the Russian Ministry of Health.

The Healthy Life Forum was first held on 13 February 2019 and was attended by some 3,000 people.
